Front Cover - Draft 1
THEME: REGGAE
This is my Front cover draft 1 i have included elements of what makes a good music magazine. The masthead of my reggae magazine is a ' ragga vibes' the word ragga comes word reggae and it helps keep that Caribbean vibe about the magazine. The main colours that i used was green, black and white as they are mainly the colours which are included in all the Caribbean countries. Also its 3 out of 4 colours for example on the Jamaican flag. The slogan helps tell my target audience why my magazine is important and what statistics say about my reggae magazine. The sell lines tell us different reggae artist who have recently shared stories about themselves or who have upcoming news about them.

RE SUBMISSION: Front Cover Magazine Pictures-
These are images that I have taken for my front cover. I have chosen different types of backgrounds and different types of angles and camera positions for the images. I wanted to get variety of backgrounds to see what will be the best area or setting for my front cover. I wanted to make sure that I had the good variety of shots to make sure I can vary and look at different shots as well and what suited for sell lines the mast head and much more.

QUESTION 6-
Question 6 steps by steps
screenshots:
For
my magazine progress I had to practice using Photoshop these are some of the
pictures I took step by step to make the finishing product my reggae magazine.
1. This is a screenshot of when I started to get the hang of using the
tools, inserting shapes and texts on the blank canvas. This was a process of me
making my contents page.
2. I changed my contents page after knowing how to put my work in columns.
I also added headlines and captions for my images and what they are going to be
about.
3. This is a screenshot of my
final contents page as I added to different factors that includes in my
magazine. For example my features is what is included in the magazine. But my regulars
is what is always in my magazine every month.
For my font cover and double page spread I
went through the same process as well. Learning how to use the tools on
Photoshop.
WWW-
Overall, I learnt how to use Photoshop and
how to operate the tools to make my magazine. I made use of using web
applications such slide share etc.
EBI- if I used more skills on Photoshop
making my front cover a lot more vibrant hence it is a reggae magazines.
